I first joined the Platinum Learning Institute in July of 2021 for English A and POB lessons in preparation for the 2022 CSEC exams. From my first class, I really loved their method of teaching, the highly interactive teaching style with quality notes and explanations.

After the vacation classes were over, I continued POB lessons for the entirety of Form Five up until exams and I must say that taking
these classes truly paid off. The incorporation of past papers as part of teaching the syllabus was quite an effective practice and their method to approaching the past paper questions were definitely very helpful.

The teachers, personally I had Miss Cassandra and Miss Ramona, they both were two of the most wonderful teachers I’ve ever had. They’re both very enthusiastic to teach, their method of explaining the material was very easy to understand and even when we did not understand something, they were always willing to re-explain. All in all, I truly enjoyed attending these classes and I definitely recommend this institution to anyone as they really are dedicated to teaching and have done a great job! I truly appreciate all of their hard work, thank you!

I have been out of school for so long I was not even aware that Top 10 was a thing so I definitely didn’t know I’m on the list. I just wanted to say thank you again. Miss Cassandra is an excellent teacher. I truly couldn’t do it without her and really enjoyed having her as a teacher.

My whole life I always felt like a failure at everything, especially with not completing high school and battling my mental health issues. It intensified all my shortcomings and failures., so being able to follow through on something and succeed at it was something very very special to me. Now seeing I did so well is just the icing on the cake. Thank you so much for being my support system inside and outside of the online classroom!

Where do I start with my experience at PLI. I came across a parent years ago who spoke so highly about this school and her son passing for his first choice which was Presentation College and asked her for the school’s number and said to myself that I would send my child there for lessons when she reaches SEA class. Not seeing the future that the world would end up in a pandemic.

When I think about it now I would say that it was God’s will to place Ms.Ramroop in my children’s life…Platinum Learning Institute is the pinnacle above others in home schooling. Two of my daughters went there, one for SEA and the other for CSEC and they started as average students at the beginning of the lockdown of schools and they developed so much knowledge in each of their classes. Ms.Ramroop is more than a teacher to these kids and she brings out the best in them. My child passed for her first-choice school, Holy Name Convent and my other child is awaiting her CXC results and is very confident about them. Excellent Job PLI!! Thanks for turning gold into Platinum and making another child’s dream come to reality.

I started some months ago and my grades were really, really shaky and I have always been one to panic and be anxious but with all the time, effort and understanding that this amazing teacher put into me, as well as all of her students, respectively, I can assure you that I, along with the others, have improved tremendously (yes, I can say so myself). Not only did she play a part as a teacher, but she treated you like family or some can even say, a close friend because of how attentive she is, whether it be school related or not. She made you understand that she cared and wanted the best for you and to me that was a push to strive for better. Her teaching mechanism is truly amazing and outstanding but most of all her accommodation skill is a plus! I do urge anyone that is seeking a tutor to apply here because you can’t get it any better. Also thanking Platinum Learning Institute for having their online classes to accommodate all their students during this pandemic! I’m telling you they WILL seek the best interest in you and your child’s need for success.

As we enter our final primary school hurdle, we look back on how far we have come. Two years ago, when the pandemic hit, my son was at his peak. We became discouraged and the will to move forward with online learning was quite deterring. Nevertheless, we couldn’t give up at this point and we started searching across the internet to find a suitable educator for him. Without a doubt it was the best decision in his education and upbringing when I chose Platinum Learning Institute.

At Platinum his confidence in himself grew and he built a relationship with Miss Ramona Ramroop that she was always there for him when he needed her.

Miss Ramona where do we start? Putting a child in a good school can never compare to finding a child a great teacher. She is always available to answer your questions and that of my son. She saw in him his capabilities and she just gave him the nudge to access it. I can see my son attending P.L.I. as he enters secondary school as well.

We have met many teachers for my son but you truly are outstanding.

My 8 yr. old spent a month with Ms. Ramona and she thoroughly enjoyed it. I found the virtual classes to be personal, very interactive, and quite engaging. Ms. Ramona managed the small group very well. My daughter enjoyed every session and got attached to Ms. Ramona and the students got along well with each other. She is very patient and professional at what she does. I must say, a lot of work was covered within that time.

I definitely recommend Ms. Ramona from Platinum Learning Institute. In addition, if I don’t get favourable feedback from my daughter’s school, rest assured, she will be spending time virtually @ Platinum Learning Institute with Ms. Ramona. Might I add, my older daughter will be starting F5 Biology classes in September God’s willing.

Platinum Learning Institute was our silver lining just when we needed…

The class was rowdy and disruptive in person and online. SEA was one year away, and we needed a more focused, attentive, comfortable setting. Platinum Learning Institute provided this for us. We shifted from the “normal” class setting to “home-schooling”. A small class, individual attention, and a teacher with the perfect balance of comfort and discipline. We saw vast improvement in that one year, which I am sure we wouldn’t have seen had we maintained the status quo. Thank you, Platinum Learning Institute, for providing that much needed avenue for those children who learn differently.

I was first introduced to Platinum Learning Institute by a co-worker who did the one-day crash course session for her daughter in Maths. When I was looking for someone to tutor my daughter one on one in Comprehension and Poetry (SEA), I contacted the institution. Miss Ramona was very accommodating and knowledgeable in this area. Not only did she take the time, but also, she was very sensitive to the needs of my child. What I found remarkable was that in the prime of COVID-19, she made a quick and easy transition to Online classes. I liked that she is very structured and always provides a comprehensive update. For example, every day she would send an email with what was done during the class and homework for the next day. You must hand it to her for her creativity as they also had virtual tours, which was a nice addition to the online learning. I would highly recommend this learning institution as they go beyond the borders to ensure your child needs are well taken care of.
